Soccer AM:
Sky Sports is planning to cancel Soccer AM after nearly three decades on air, the broadcaster has confirmed.

The network is proposing the final edition should be on Saturday 27 May, at the end of the current season.

A Sky spokesman said: "We now go into a period of consultation to discuss the proposed changes with our people."

The programme has aired on Saturday mornings since 1995, reflecting on the week's football events with a panel of sports and TV personalities.

Re: Soccer AM:
Used to watch it all the time when Helen and Lovejoy presented it but probably only watched bits of it since and from what I have seen it's utter garbage so good riddance. Soccer Saturday has been going down the drain as well, the current pundits are fucking awful

Bring back TISWAS !!!

Re: Soccer AM:
You are going to hate it's replacement.

Basically a show where internet " celebrities " discuss football, it is fucking dreadful.

Re: Soccer AM:
Was great in its heyday, obviously started going downhill when Lovejoy went but the last few years it’s been terrible with Bullard & co. Fenners was great on it until he started to host it I think. Some great sketches and sadly it’ll be replaced by some woke unfunny bollocks with a cunt like Alex Scott doing it.

Re: Soccer AM:
I used to love Soccer AM and continued to watch from around the age of 9 up to my early teens, it was essential Saturday morning TV.

Once I saw Lovejoy for the egotistical (insert your own word) he is, I switched off.

The show has been an utter disgrace for at least a decade now. Good riddance.

Was a great show back in the day mind. Formats change though, and also being “laddy” is banned now
